Summer/Fall 2022

Registration for undergraduate students for Summer/Fall 2022 courses begins Friday, March 25, 2022. Specific registration dates for undergraduate students can be found on the Registrar's page.  Please note that students will receive their term Personal Identification Number (PIN)/Alternate PIN needed to register for Summer/Fall 2022 courses during their pre-registration meeting (virtual or other) with their academic advisor. PINs will activate on the date and at the exact time students are first allowed to register.

Students should select whether they are advised by the College of Arts and Sciences Academic Advising Center, or a departmental faculty member.

Students advised in the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) Academic Advising Center  will receive an e-mail from advising-cas@scranton.edu  in their University of Scranton e-mail account with instructions for the pre-registration process.

Students should consult the Course Schedule Search , their DegreeWorks account and their respective Programs of Study  (also found in the University Catalog ) and fill out their CAS Registration Form to the best of their ability prior to their assigned pre-registration appointment.

Students advised by a departmental faculty member will receive an e-mail from the Office of the Registrar and Academic Services  pertaining to important course registration information in their University of Scranton e-mail account in February. Students should download a CAS Registration Form here. Instructions for filling out and signing a digital copy of the registration form can be found on the CAS Updates page.  Students should contact their faculty advisor and schedule an advising appointment prior to their registration date. A student's faculty advisor is listed in their student portal, as well as, in the first block on their DegreeWorks Worksheet or on the upper left-hand side of their Curriculum and Program Planning (CAPP) Report. Students can access their online CAPP Report  or online Degree Works Audit through their portal.  Students should consult the Course Schedule Search, their CAPP Report or DegreeWorks audit and their respective Program of Study (also found in the University Catalog ), as well as, fill out their CAS Registration Form to the best of their ability prior to their pre-registration appointment .A student must meet with their faculty advisor to discuss their academic plan, registration and receive their term PIN.

Prior to registration, students should ensure there are no holds on their account and confirm term PIN access.  A hold will prevent anyone from registering a student in classes.  If there is a hold on a student's account, the student should identify which office placed the hold on their account in their student portal and contact the appropriate office.
